Though Apple and Samsung are the undisputable leaders in smart phone category Nokia is trying is catch up on the lost time by launching new models of smart phone. Lumia series based on Windows OS platform has shown some success and with the launch of Lumia 520 in the recently held Mobile World Congress 2013, they have shown that they are still in the game. Lumia 520 is one of the most affordable windows phone form Nokia sporting a 4-inch IPS display and 1 GHz Snapdragon S4 dual core processor. Lumia 520 has a 5 mega pixel camera, and an 8GB storage and micro SD card. The phone will be available in US and sold by T-mobile USA and it will carry a price of $50 or less. Nokia has whole lot of device in Lumia series but 520 will appeal to the emerging market in Asia and Africa as it has some good specs and is priced competitively.

Though it will be early to say how the phone is going to perform in the near future but given the previous success of Nokia Lumia series there a light at the end of the tunnel.
