Samsung has hit a pot of gold with its Galaxy series of smart phones the latest being Galaxy S4. According Samsung electronics the company has sold more than 10 million units of Samsung Galaxy S4 worldwide in less than a month. This figure is higher and better than its predecessor Galaxy S3 which crossed the same feat in 50 days after its launch. This makes Samsung Galaxy S4 to the fastest and highest selling Android phone in the history of smart phone. The S4 is currently available in 110 countries and will gradually it will be rolled to other countries in due course of time.

 

Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with some solid specs, which according to some is better than current iPhone 5 from Apple. The phone features a large 5-inch high definition Super AMOLED screen with a 441 dpi for life like clarity. The dual camera –both front and rear –can be used simultaneously. The other features like Air view and Air Gesture redefines the human interaction with phone like never before. Currently the phone comes in two color variants White Mist and Black Forest and according to sources new color variants will be added in coming months which includes Blue Arctic and Red Aurora, Purple Mirage and Brown Autumn. According to Gartner Samsung has 30.8% market share in smart phone segment whereas Apple has 18.2%. With the success of Samsung Galaxy S4 its competitor Apple has filed a lawsuit against Samsung regarding patent infringements in California court.

 

Apple’s future launch iPhone 5S can offer some degree of competition to Samsung Galaxy S4, till then Galaxy S4 is going break couple of more records in terms of sales, profits and stocks.
