Like Apple, Google and Samsung who are known for their high voltage product launches Amazon is not far behind. Product launches at Amazon has always created a sense of mystery regarding their upcoming products. The company Launched Kindle e-book reader and captured largest market share likewise the Kindle Fire tablets are giving tough competition to ipads and galaxy tablets from Apple and Samsung respectively.

Past few weeks saw a huge excitement in the tech world regarding the Amazon’s possibilities of launching a Smartphone though the market for smartphone is crowded and is fast maturing but when it comes to Amazon there are few exceptions. On 18-June 2014, Jeff Bezos launched Amazon's Fire Phone at an event in Seattle. The phone holds many promising features and directly has no competition with the earlier established players. This Fire phone from Amazon on one thought seems to be a welcome change when market is filled with “Me-Too”. This Android based 4.7-inch phone boast 3-D feature a first of its kind in any Smartphone. The phone has a Firefly feature that promises users seamless online buying experience as the feature is capable of identifying 70 million products including 35 million songs and 245000 movies and TV episodes along with 160 live channels that is some huge figures. The phone boasts of 3-D screen which looks good at the onset only future inspection will allow user to know how actually it works in the real life scenario. The phone ships from July 25 though one can pre-order it now.
